Quietstorm The Poet
Quietstorm has been a writer/poet since 2009. She discovered poetry on the campus of Jackson State University through participation in the student-led creative arts collective organization OutSpoken. Many of her friends were also members of this organization.
She chose poetry as a way to speak louder and to speak up for herself. One could say her way with words is definitely divine. Two of her poems were published and archived in the Black Magnolias Literary Journal in Jackson, Mississippi.
With her gift of writing, she plans to positively impact the world locally and globally through her poetry. Quietstorm continues to write poetry as a way to open the hearts, minds, and consciousness of people to see what is actually going on in the world today. Her writing is thought provoking and she is a believer in people and their abilities.
